SME Cloud Competition Award Ceremony

On 11 June 2015, Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) held the SME Cloud Competition Award Ceremony at Conference Hall, Central Government Offices, Tamar to celebrate the effective adoption of cloud computing by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and outstanding cloud solutions offered by local service providers to SMEs. During the awards ceremony, the Acting Government Chief Information Officer, Mr Victor Lam, praised the awarded SMEs for their effective adoption of cloud computing in enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating business development.

Moreover, the stage drama performed the practical scenarios of SMEs cloud applications, including how e-M-POWER on Demand can move production, management and accounting system to the Cloud in order to help trading companies to ensure on time delivery; how Conzoomer provides table reservation, online order for product reservation, electronic menu (e-Menu), takeaway functions for helping restaurant to reduce costs effectively and to enhance operational efficiency.

e-M-POWER on Demand cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution was awarded the “Best SME Cloud Solutions” Award. Conzoomer's existing customer, Sushi Ma Japanese Restaurant, was awarded the Silver Award of “Best SME Cloud Adopters”. Conzoomer utilizes cloud and mobility technology to assist Sushi Ma Japanese Restaurant in reducing costs effectively and improving operational efficienc while the electronic stamping (e-Stamping) function also helps them to attract more new customers and maintain long-term relationship with customers.
