Work Experience Movement 2016/17 (4)

Recently, ISL had participated in the Business – School Partnership Programme (BSPP), a Work Experience Movement, organised by the Education Bureau from 19 to 20 July, 2017. This is the second time for ISL to join this programme in which two secondary students joined the company and experienced the workplace environment as marketing assistants. The activity started with a brief introduction about the company background, products and the daily tasks to the students. In these two days, they assisted the marketing team by doing marketing research and having a brainstorm for promotional ideas so as to have a better understanding in the operation of the marketing team and the duty of being a marketing assistant.

It is an unforgettable and fulfilling experience to the students to work as a marketing assistant in a company. At the same time, they can broaden their horizons through this campaign which has an objective to let them have a clearer picture about various job positions. On the other hand, in terms of social skills, students can also learn how to co-operate with other teammates, and establish good working attitude. All in all, students can gain work experiences and learn distinct practical skills during this rewarding programme, so that they can equip themselves for their future paths.
